Within a range of only a few kilometres from the Castle the golfing enthusiast can reach the Ogliata, Le Querce, Marco Simone and Parco dei Medici golf clubs, with the beautiful Castelgandolfo course just a little further away.

In the 2001 Italian Open, Castello della Castelluccia hosted Emanuele Canonica, Paul Lawrie and Costantino Rocca, and the latter has since become a regular at the Hotel.
For some years now, during the Rome Open - a regular fixture on the European Challenge Tour - which is played at the Olgiata Golf Club, the Castle has hosted international referees, players and sponsors.

In 2009, guests of the Hotel were players of the calibre of Edoardo Molinari, Nicolas Colsaert, Rhys Davies and Frederik Hendersonn Hed.
